50 Side Gigs

I made a list of side gigs that I could do to earn some extra money and thought I would share...

  1. Driving for Uber or Lyft
  2. Selling things I don't need on Poshmark or Offer Up
  3. Selling homemade things on Etsy
  4. Writing books and selling through Kindle/Createspace
  5. Working a seasonal job (Kohls, Target, UPS, etc)
  6. Working a temporary gig through Craigslist
  7. Walking dogs or dog sitting through Rover
  8. Delivering food through UberEats, DoorDash, or Postmates
  9. Teach English online
  10. Put affiliate links and advertising on my blogs and websites
  11. Renting out our extra rooms on AirBnB
  12. Buying and reselling items from trash picking, Craigslist, Goodwill, etc
  13. Rent out our car on Turo
  14. Investing small amounts of money
  15. Sell books on Bookscouter
  16. Creating and hosting websites
  17. Editing documents and books
  18. On What's Your Price people will bid to take you out on a date (hubby would nix this one in a hurry!)
  19. Taking part in consumer research focus groups
  20. Housesitting
  21. Signspinning
  22. Being a RentAFriend
  23. Wrapping my car in advertising
  24. Doing micro jobs with Fiverr or Mechanical Turk
  25. Grantwriting
  26. Getting paid to shop with Shipt
  27. Delivering for Amazon with Flex
  28. Creating and selling Las Vegas themes gift boxes
  29. Work a customer service job from home
  30. Walking people
  31. Invest in peer-to-peer lending
  32. Being a local tour guide
  33. Officiating weddings
  34. Selling photos I take through FOAP and other apps
  35. Doing small gigs through GigWalk
  36. Doing copy writing or technical writing

  1. Kindle/Createspace are all now just Kindle (they merged) - we had a book in both and now are separate entries in Kindle - I had to order author copies and that was very easy too fyi. If you have anything in Createspace they will be moving it or you can move it yourself :) I buy things at garage sales and thrift stores and resell them on Facebook 24 hr bidding site or Craigslist

    1. Thanks for the info on Kindle/Createspace, I didn't know that. I have pulled my books from Kindle because they were getting out of date so I will need to check into that when I publish again!
