I have been checking out different ways to invest online.  I know that day trading is really risky and involves A LOT of research but lately I have seen a variety of apps discussed that allow you to invest small amounts of money on a regular basis.  It looks like an interesting idea.  This article about "How to Invest When You're Broke" looks like a good overview of investing basics.  Obviously I need to do more research and I'll let you know what happens but the combination of the simplicity of an app, free or low costs trades, and the idea of buying and holding using small amounts of money looks like a great idea!
