We are wrapping up our year with lots of cleaning and organizing. Hubby finished cleaning out the garage today (several hours of work), we sent a box of stuff to the Philippines this afternoon, we have a pile of stuff to drop off to the Goodwill, and I spent about seven hours uploading my genealogy files to Family Search--only two more generations to go! Hopefully we will get out and do some fun activities after Christmas (hubby asked if I wanted to go shopping today and I said "three days before Christmas?? No way!" Our stores get super crowded just before Christmas and I'd rather avoid people so after the holidays should be a better time to shop). Here's another family photo. Notice how they all have guns? My family is pretty much the same today!
I have found that going after Christmas is just as crowded with people shopping for specials and markdowns and going to return things.
ReplyDeleteYes, I think we will not shop until several days after Christmas just to give the crowds time to die down!
DeleteGuns in photo's today make me cringe, but understand the history. I'm good too to stay out of stores.
ReplyDeleteI think back then guns were a way of life, they lived in a remote town in a remote state which necessitated firearms and since then, using guns for hunting and target shooting has kind of been handed down through the generations.
