5 Things from This Week

It's been quiet week around here...

1. I found this cute sling bag at Ross and bought it.  While it isn't a Tumi or a Coach bag, it meets my needs and only cost $12.99(!).  It isn't branded on the outside but the inside tag said it was an Outdoors Products brand sling which is a very cheap brand but I've had bags from this "cheap" brand before and they have worn like iron and are virtually indestructible.  I'll keep my ego in check and my money in my pocket and happily carry this bag when I go out walking!
2. Here is a recent video from Sheila which I think we can all relate to these days.
3. Hubby was so sick this week we ended up at the hospital twice in three days.  The doctors kind of threw a bunch of medications at him to see what would work and fortunately he is feeling better today (at least he doesn't sound like he is hacking up a lung and gasping for breath every 10 minutes!).
4. I tried to stay up and watch the Pope's funeral live but it started at midnight our time and lasted more than four hours and I only made it about and hour before falling asleep.
5. I cleaned out the freezer today and found old bananas and old blueberries so I made banana blueberry bread and gave away most of it (I'm just happy to have more room in the freezer!).
