Linux

Well the Graphene experiment lasted about 24 hours. While I like the privacy of using Graphene on my cell phone, the photos taken on the phone were awful. I think both Apple and Samsung use some sort of photo processing that make pictures look more amazing than expected, while stock Graphene (or maybe because it is an older phone?) made my pictures look less than amazing.

On a similar note, I was bored yesterday so decided to install Linux Mint on one of my laptops as this may be what I switch to when Windows 10 is no longer supported next month. I've tried Linux in past years but the programs were clunky and required more technical expertise (and patience) than I had. With yesterday's experiment I can now say that Linux is an amazing, easy-to-use, full featured program. The install was simple, I didn't have to track down missing drivers, and it functions pretty much exactly like Windows. It's a great operating system!

Today's quick tip: Check out all of these great frugal tips, many of which I use myself!
