Even though I don't bowl and I am doing a no-spend year until my debts are paid off. But the lady who is on hubby's bowling team asked me if I knew anyone who wanted to buy her bowling shoes because she bought better bowling shoes (these had never been worn but she couldn't return them) and she only wanted $10 for them so I immediately bought them. My justification was that they were really cheap (about $30 less than buying them new) and I do bowl occasionally with hubby (and spend $3.95 each time renting bowling shoes) so this seemed like a really good deal. Plus they were my size. Overall I think it was an OK purchase that will save me money in the future.
