Today I Am...

...not in line to buy a lottery ticket.  Not that I couldn't do a whole lot with a billion dollars but statistically it's a huge waste of money and the lines at the closest California store are LONG!
...studying the voter's guide and other sources of voting information to decide who I will vote for tomorrow in early voting.  I can't believe that some people would have the nerve to even run for office (but this is Sin City so there's that).  On a happy note, these God-awful political ads will soon stop running!
...shocked to learn that 100,000 people moved from California to Las Vegas just this year.  eeekkk
...surprised/not surprised that this guy needs his "emotional support tigers."  ayayay
...weirdly enthralled by these animal x rays that went viral.

¯\\\_(ツ)_/¯

  1. I frivolously spent $20 on a chance at the big money. I want to be able to dream about being uber rich and never having to work again, even if chances of winning are very slim.

    1. I hope you win! I guess if it was easier and closer to buy a ticket we would buy one just for the heck of it when it gets so high.

  2. We make a group and people opt into shares at work. I put just a couple bucks in-we then discuss how if we won, what a great charitable trust we could create. I have all I need in life-of course making life that much easier would be grand, but I think of all the good that could com efrom these sums if people thought beyond their own wants. It is so sad to think about all the lottery winners that are broke within a short amount of time.

    1. That sounds like a great idea (the charitable trust). What a wonderful way to spend a huge amount of lottery winnings!
