A New Small Appliance

We try not to buy too many small appliances and make those that we do buy do double duty but when I saw a three-quart Instapot-like appliance on sale I grabbed it. We already have a regular-sized Instapot but it is pretty big and we rarely use it unless we are cooking for a party. With this new, smaller appliance, we can use it in place of our rice cooker, use it as a steamer, use it as a slow cooker, and hubby can use it to pressure cook meat when he cooks smaller servings of the many Filipino dishes he likes to cook. We tried it out yesterday and hubby loved it!

Today's tip: stop buying crap--it will save you money, and send a clear signal to greedy companies that consumers are done with their shenanigans.
