Savers

We passed by a newly open Savers store today and decided to stop by and check it out. I'd heard of this store but never been to one before, apparently it is like the Goodwill as it accepts donations but also may have some new items too. There were lots of shoppers but hubby and I weren't that impressed--it was more expensive than the Goodwill (on par with sale items at Ross) but theses were still used items so it was kind of a meh experience.

Today's tip: Insurance these days is a God-awful mess. I thought our car insurance increased too much with our last Costco bill but when I shopped other companies, our car insurance would have been triple what we were paying through Costco so we continued our coverage with Costco. In another case, our commercial insurance company sent out a notice that their company no longer covers flood damage. At all. This is a terrible turn of events for consumers.
