Hubby decided to play poker today at a downtown Las Vegas casino so I decided to play tourist. I walked a few miles through the downtown Fremont part of the city and took lots of photos. I watch the show 'Pawn Stars' on late night TV and I love it but every time I go by the shop there is always a long line so I just skip it but this morning there was no line so I decided to go in and...was underwhelmed. It's just a small shop filled with tourists and the stars of the show I heard don't really work there any more so it was just some place to check out to say I've been there. Overall it was a nice walk in great weather!
This is the Fremont where they have overhead light shows each evening...
This is the El Cortex, the longest continually running hotel and casino in Las Vegas dating back to 1941....
There is A LOT of graffiti art to be found downtown...
And this is the Supreme Court of Nevada building...
This is inside the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop...
This is a painted on the floor there...
Unfortunately this is the closest I came to seeing the stars of the show...on a TV in the store...
And here's their official sign...
I also found the Graceland Wedding Chapel where you can get married by Elvis!
